HDX 9000 Series

A true high definition codec designed for integration professionals. The Polycom HDX 9004 offers true 720p (1280 x 720 at 30 fps) resolution that results extraordinary video quality. For complete flexibility in room design, the Polycom HDX 9004 has 5 high definition video inputs and 4 professional video outputs.

HD video capture is attained with the optional Polycom EagleEye High Definition Camera which provides high definition 720p video captured at 60fps. Hear every participant clearly with Siren™22 kHz audio. Amazing audio and rich sounds with a true-to-life audio experience comes from Polycom's StereoSurround™. Users can be heard naturally from the far end when the participants are separated on the left and right channels.

Content sharing has never been easier and better. With the HDX 9000 series of video conferencing solutions, you can share content in multiple ways. Content can be shared as a single stream, which is optimal for very high motion (i.e. a DVD movie being played during a video conference). Content can be shared in dual streams, using the industry standard H.239, allowing participants to see the person presenting in one screen and the content they are sharing in another screen. With the HDX system, content can be shared in a unique, third way using chroma key technology built right into the HDX codec. This revolutionary way of sharing data is called People On Content; with the use of chroma key technology the speaker can become part of his/her presentation.

SoundStation VTX 1000 Conference Phone: Integrate the SoundStation VTX 1000 with the VSX line of video conferencing products, as well as with the Vortex installed audio solution. Both paths lead integrators to creating an end-user paradigm that is simple and understandable; dialing a video call is as easy as dialing a phone call.
