Michael Brandofino

Executive Vice President, Video and Unified Communications

Mr. Michael Brandofino joined AVI-SPL in May 2009, driving the company's initiatives for industry leadership in video and Unified Communications (UC) services.

Mr. Brandofino created and continues to lead the Business Video Group (BVG), which encompasses business development, product development and management, professional services, the HelpDesk and video managed services. Under his leadership, the BVG team launched the video-focused support program, Unify ME™ Digital Media as a Services (DMaaS) and the multifunction Telepresence solution, Caméléon.

Mr. Brandofino has over 18 years of experience in the video communications space, which started when he co-founded video equipment reseller Face to Face Communications in 1992. The organization was subsequently acquired by the Johns Brook Company in 1997. He was president of Johns Brook at the time it was acquired by Wire One, GlowPoint Inc.'s predecessor company, in 2000. He went on to serve as CTO of Glowpoint, and subsequently was named CEO of the company in 2006.

Among his career highlights, Mr. Brandofino received Telespan's PACE award in 2008 for his visionary contributions to the advancement of video communications.
