AVI-SPL Acquires Iformata Communications
AVI-SPL, the preeminent audio video communications provider to businesses and organizations around the world, acquired Iformata Communications, a leader in managed video services.
The acquisition of Iformata includes its main VNOC facility in Dayton, Ohio, with redundant facilities in Virginia and Norway. Along with the physical facilities, AVI-SPL acquires VNOC Symphony®, an innovative VNOC management tool, associated relationships, intellectual property, and a portfolio of 450 claim patents.
AVI-SPL will integrate Iformata's world-class VNOC facilities and VNOC Symphony platform with its expanding managed services offering, to bring customers comprehensive solutions and support for their communications. The VNOC infrastructure and support network gives AVI-SPL the ability to create, develop and deliver best-of-class video managed services. With VNOC Symphony, AVI-SPL handles all aspects of a video communications deployment for its customers, including monitoring, reporting, and conference production.

AVI-SPL is now the only solutions provider to offer both AVNOC and VNOC services, supporting infrastructure deployment and customers' meeting environments.
